Events and Fun Things to See in Tacoma:

We recommend these restaurants. They are all located on our block. What makes a wonderful lunch break? Eating at any of these fine eateries and stopping by for some lunch-time power shopping in our store!

Capers
Healthy, fresh, great tasting food but we especially love the cookies! The cookies call our name a little too often... We have never been served anything but good food. Our staff favorites: Chicken Enchilladas, Turkey with Fresh Basil Mayonnaise Sandwich, Caesar Salad, any soup, and all of their daily specials!

Merende Italian Eatery
A new Italian eatery on our block. Fine Italian dining of fresh appetizing cuisine in taste and presentation in an intimate family-owned setting. We have dined at and enjoyed this new restaurant and will return again. It was an all-around pleasurable meal.

Meconi's Tacoma Pub and Eatery
Great subs, friendly staff, nice pub atmosphere, daily specials, happy hour and beer! Our staff favorites: Ham Sub, The Parm, French Dip, any burger.

The Matador of Tacoma
Tequila Bar and great Tex-Mex/Southwest Cuisine. We love it and haven't heard anything but rave reviews... Our staff favorites: Matador Burger, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Skillet Seared Fajitas.

Paddy Coynes Irish Pub
Friendly staff, good Irish food and beer, good looking bar, historic restoration and cozy Irish atmosphere. Our staff favorites: Soda Bread, Ultimate Grilled Cheese, Paddy's Reuben, and Fish and Chips.

Where in the world is the Tacoma Farmers' Market? Thur. 9:00am to 2:00pm (May 17th - Oct. 18th), on 9th & Broadway--Buy some fresh produce at the Market and stop by and see us! The Tacoma Farmers' Market
